Some Words of Inspiration.....

Happy St. Patricks Day!!!

Thanks for checking in on me.  I love when I have good news to report :)  The journey of skinny chef is still well on it's way, and I'm happy to report, the pounds have been coming off!!!  I'm so excited to see my hard work pay off.  I've been hitting the gym hard with my trainer, and the best part of all, I have managed to, at the same time, manage to maintain a sense of normalcy in my life as well....shocking, right?!?!  Not only have I taken time for myself to work towards a goal, I have also balanced work and family right along with it.  I know that taking time to work on me, in the long run, is helping my family and I'm so glad I have managed to settle in to a routine of fitness, work, and family that works for all of us....and just in time too!!  Wedding Season is upon us, and while it is probably my favorite time of year, it is also the most hectic.  Establishing a good healthy routine now is only going to facilitate my continued success, and I couldn't be more excited to move forward in a positive direction in both my personal and work endeavors.

Taking time for yourself is, hands down, one of the biggest challenges and new business owner can face.  Finding time for yourself AND your family brings a whole other world of challenges, but one thing I have learned, is that it is so important to hang on to a piece of yourself in the midst of all the crazy!!  Always remember who you are and where you've come from, and in the long run, it will help you stay the level-headed person you are today.  Whether running your own business, or contemplating starting one, keep in mind those that need you the most....and that is you and your family.  Those are the ones, that at the end of the worst day ever, can bring a much needed smile to your face.  And remember, HANG IN THERE!!  It may not seem like it at the beginning, but it will and does get easier.  I have been there and done that, and speaking from experience, in the long run, the good will outweight the bad and you will look back at the beginning and realize, it was all worth it!!!

Have an amazing day...and get out there and celebrate St. Patty's day the best way you know how!!!
